AfterShokz Trek Air headphones use bone-conduction technology to transmit sound to your inner ear while bypassing your ear canal. The headphones rest in front of your ears and the bone-conduction technology transmits sound waves to your inner ear via the cheek bones. This leaves your ear canal open so you can simultaneously listen to audiobooks, music, or podcasts while remaining aware of your surroundings. In 2021, Aftershokz rebranded and is now known as Shokz. 

The Trekz Air headphones have a titanium frame and light flexible design. They use Bluetooth to connect to your device. These headphones have a battery life of 6 hours. They are intended for use with exercise; they have an IP55 rating, indicating that they are both sweatproof and dustproof. The headphones feature a multi-function button to play, pause, skip, answer calls, and activate the voice assistant. There are also volume control buttons which double as a power button. 

Customers generally enjoyed the AfterShokz Trek Air headphones. Many customers found the headphones very comfortable. They appreciated that they found an alternative to earbuds in their ear canal or bulky over-ear headphones.
