Atomic SquatWedgiez

Designed specifically to help people improve their squat, SquatWedgiez overall deliver on their promise. Our product testers included Olympic weightlifting athletes, fitness beginners, and seniors. Each person who tested the products—which includes the brand’s Atomic version, the travel version, and the XL version—noticed improved depth in the squat and/or a better ability to target the quads.

SquatWedgiez are exactly what they sound like: wedges that help you squat. Both scientific and anecdotal evidences points to the benefits of squatting with elevated heels, which helps many people get into a better squat position, i.e. reach a longer range of motion.

Atomic SquatWedgiez: Uses recycled, high-density rubber that can support up to 1,500 pounds. Footprint is 13 inches long, 5.75 inches wide, 3.7 inches tall with a 15-degree incline. These were our favorite in testing due to the attachable non-slip surface.

XL SquatWedgiez: Uses a high-density foam, creating an incredibly light wedge that is easily transported around your gym or while you travel. They are 13 inches long, 6 inches wide and 3.7 inches tall. They also have a 15-degree incline.

Travel SquatWedgiez: These are made of a plastic, are lightweight, and smaller than the other products from the brand. They feature a textured surface. Our testers found these to be the least stable, but still sufficient if you’re in need of something for on-the-go. The footprint is 9.25 inches long, 5 inches wide and 2.5 inches tall. They come with a travel bag and weigh just 11 ounces each.
